ACL Div 2 Results & Table

Aghyaran lead the way in division two after they scored the last four points to beat Dungannon at home by the minimum margin. Michael Anderson, Malachy Martin and Benny Gallen [2] got those crucial last scores to deny a Clarkes side who had points from Patrick Quinn, Sean Molloy and Tiernan Morgan.

Loughmacrory made home advantage count against an Eskra side who are now bottom of the table.  Shane Dobbs bagged the only goal of the game with Cathal Donaghy, Cathair Gallagher and Stephen Donaghy among the points for the winners. Joe McCarroll, Peter Hughes and Niall Marlow were on target for the Emmetts.

Conor Mullan [2], Matthew Carberry and Ryan Pickering all got goals as Cookstown won at Aghaloo despite finishing with fourteen men. Rory McGlone and Kyle Thompson were among the points for the home side.

The big result of the day saw Rock win away to Moy. The visitors only scored once in the first half but Aidan McGarrity, Tommy Bloomer and Stephen Mullan helped turn things around to win. Conall Duffy and Chris O’Neill featured among the points for Moy.

Fergal McAliskey kicked four points and Ciaran Gervin and Seamus McCann got goals as title chasing Derrylaughan won at home to Gortin. Sean McAleer, Ruairi Keenan and Eoghan McGarvey all landed points for the visitors.

Eglish are also in joint second place after they got a late winner at Kildress. Des Treacy got 1-5 for the Wolfe Tones with Mattie McGuigan and Johnny Connolly also on target but their efforts just came up short. Peter McCann led the way in the scoring stakes for Eglish with Paul Mason and Pauric Martin also on target.

Goals from Cathal Devlin [2] and Paul Dillon helped Stewartstown upset the odds at home to Augher. Darragh Kavanagh kicked 0-11 for the St.Macartans but his efforts proved to be in vain.
