Errigal Ciaran played host to Coalisland in an early throw in and they emerged 1-13 to 1-10 winners.  Paudge McAnenly got the only goal of the game in the first half as the Dunmoyle based men led 1-7 to 0-6 at the break,  Peter Harte, Ronan McRory, Gerard Toner and Plunkett Kane among the points for their respective sides.  Brian Toner and Niall Kerr had points for the Fianna in the second period with Davy Harte and Mark Kavanagh on target for the hosts and while Sean Corr got a late goal for the visitors Errigal Ciaran ran out deserving winners.

Greencastle made the short trip to play Omagh at Healy Park and they came away with a shock but fully merited 1-12 to 1-10 win. The St.Endas led by two points at the break with Conor McMahon, Ronan O’Neill, Cathair McCullagh and Chris Gillen among the points for their respective teams.  An early second half goal from Michael Flanagan appeared to put the hosts in control but Greencastle replied  with a major of their own from McCullagh and he and Shane Coyle added points to give them a fine victory.

Eglish came with a late rally to draw away to neighbours Moy. Sean Cavanagh was in fine form for the hosts with 1-6 to his name with Conall Duffy their other goal scorer. Emmett McKenna top scored for Eglish with five points with Ciaran Colton and Eugene Daly also on target.

Carrickmore hit 1-3 without reply in the closing five minutes as they came from behind at home to beat Trillick. Lee Brennan hit seven points for the visitors with Mattie Donnelly getting a couple as well. Mickey Donaghy and Martin Penrose were among the points for the St.Colmcilles with Paul McAleer bagging the only goal of the game.

James Carlin, Thomas Flanagan and Leo Meenan were among the points as defending league champions Killyclogher recorded a narrow win at Strabane. Danny McBride, Warner Mullan and John Paul Gallagher had points for the Sigersons with the latter converting a late penalty to put them in front before Flanagan levelled and Meenan won it.

Augher picked up their first win of the season when they came out on top in a real four pointer at O’Neill Park against Dungannon. Padraig McNulty had a goal for the Clarkes in the first attack to give them a perfect start.  It was level at the break however thanks to a Daire Kavanagh goal. The hosts had the opening six points of the second half through Patrick Quinn and Keifer Morgan but Augher refused to throw in the towel with Patrick Treanor finding the net and Aidan Cassidy and Liam Connolly notching late points for a crucial victory.

Niall Sludden, Conor O’Neill, Fergal O’Neill, Colm McCullagh and Eoin McCusker scored 0-13 between them as league leaders Dromore won away to struggling Donaghmore. Deasun Quinn and Caolan Mulgrew were the goal scorers for the St.Patricks.

Clonoe had the minimum to spare at home to Ardboe. Connor McAliskey weighed in with 0-8 for the O’Rahillys with Patrick Doris and Shane O’Hagan on target as well.
