Tyrone Minor Hurlers made it two wins from two starts in their minor League campaign when they enjoyed a 3-27 to 0-5 win over Louth at Garvaghey on Saturday afternoon.

Initially the Red Hands were slow out of the traps and it was the Wee County that actually made the better start with scores from John Stephenson and Ian Conor giving them an early 0-3 to 0-2 lead. However once Tyrone found their feet and Peadar Daly and Lorcan Devlin got to grips with the midfield battle there was only going to be one winner.

From ten minutes in Louth found themselves on the back foot as Brannon Molloy, Rory Nugent and Pearse Mc Erlane began to make the most of the time and space afforded by a very generous Louth defence where Jack Carr and Michael Ryan battled to keep the score down. Brannon Molloy finished with 1-8 as Tyrone reached the break 2-11 to 0-4 in front. Their first half goals came from good finishes from Molloy and Nugent.

The second half saw Tyrone continue to dominate play with Daly, centre back Paul Conway and Ethan Mc Nally ensuring the Louth forwards enjoyed few scoring opportunities. Louth managed a solitary second half score from the stick of John Stephenson while a very impressive Tyrone side added 1-15 to their first half total with midfielder Daly producing a man of the match display and a personal tally of 0-5.

Next up for Tyrone is a home fixture with Cavan on Wednesday evening at Garvaghey.

Tyrone Scorers: Brannon Molloy 1-8, Pearse Mc Erlane 1-5, Peadar Daly 0-5, Rory Nugent 1-1,Lorcan Devlin 0-4, John Campbell 0-2, Ciaran Lagan 0-1, Paul Conway 0-1.

Louth Scorers: John Stephenson 0-3, Ian Conor 0-2.
