Niall Morgan has become the latest member of the Tyrone county panel to agree a move to the USA for the remainder of the summer. Morgan has signed for the Ulster GAA club in San Francisco. The move will come as a blow to Edendork as they prepare for their Intermediate championship quarter final in three weeks time. Earlier in the summer Edendork midfielder Harry Og Conlon also chose to spend the summer state side.
Earlier in the week Errigal Ciaran man Ciaran McGinley signed for Chicago side St Brendan’s while Aghyaran’s Ronan McNamee and Coalisland’s Paddy McNeice signed for New York club Donegal GAA. All four county men are believed to have signed a 60 day sanctions which means that they would not be eligible to play with their own clubs until mid September at the earliest irrespective of whether or not they return home early.
