Fintona got the better of Owen Roes in a low scoring game winning 0-9 to 0-6 at home. The Pearses dominated the first half and led 0-6 to 0-1 at the break with Tomas Mc Grath (0-3) and Aaron Mc Carney (0-2) leading the way. Cathal Mc Shane was the sole scorer for the Leckpatrick lads. Mc Grath landed another three points inside the opening thirteen minutes of the second half extending their lead to seven points 0-9 to 0-2. However Owen Roes rallied with three further points from Cathal Mc Shane and one from Ryan Mc Shane to narrow the gap to three but Fintona held on to win.

Beragh and Drumquin served up a real thriller on Sunday before a last minute Marty Rodgers penalty sealed the win for the Red Knights. Rodgers top scored for the winners with 1-10. Along with Eddie Molloy and Johnny Woods Rodgers helped his side reach the break leading 0-9 to 1-4. Drumquins first half scorers were Paul Sheridan (1-0), Ryan Mc Callion (0-2) and a point each from Brendan Gormley and Barry Sheridan. The Wolfe Tones were much improved after the break with Frankie Mc Alynn hitting five points while Paul Sheridan’s point in the fifty seventh minute drew the sides level. However Rodgers late penalty sealed a dramatic 1-16 to 1-13 win for Beragh.

Brocagh made the long run to Glenelly and came away with a 1-14 to 1-12 win over the home side. Ciaran Donnelly (2) and Michael Hughes helped give the Lough shore team an early lead but Seamus Harkin (4), Joe Mc Cullagh and Michael Nicholas points ensured there was only two between the sides at the break with Brocagh leading 0-8 to 0-6. That two point gap remained right until the end with Brocagh winning despite the best efforts of Seamus Harkin who finished with nine points to his name while Ciaran Kearney hit 1-1 for Glenelly.

Castlederg and Killyman served up a seven goal thriller with the Derg pulling away at the end to win 4-13 to 3-9. Chris Mc Hugh and Ronan Devine hit early goals for Castlederg but Killyman battled back with goals from Mickey Donnelly and Enda Mc Gahan to reach the break trailing 3-7 to 2-5. Mark Corry, Sean Harper, Ronan Devine and Brian Coyle all found the target for the Derg while Enda Mc Gahan converted a penalty for Killyman. However a fourth Derg goal, this one from Sean Harper, sealed the win for them on a final score of 4-13 to 3-9.

Rock continued their fine form with a 0-16 to 1-6 win over Errigal Ciaran 3rds. Conor Mc Creesh top scored for the winners with 0-8 while both Tommy Bloomer and Aidan Mc Garrity bagged a brace of points each for Rock.

Clogher enjoyed a three point win away to Dregish on Sunday afternoon on a final score of 0-13 to 1-7. The Eire Ogs were quickly into their stride and opened up a six point lead early in the game with P Mc Kernan and  M Bogue among the scorers. Dregish eventually awoke from their slumber with a Mark Catterson goal that helped Dregish reach the break just two points down 0-8 to 1-3. Dregish fought back in the second period and at one stage trailed by a single point 1-7 to 0-11 with Catterson again (0-2), Aidan O’Kane and Marcus Taggart scoring points. However Clogher reasserted themselves to finish deserving winners.

Derrytresk maintained their good home form with a three point win over Drumragh. The sides were tied at five points a piece at the break but Mickey Rea’s goal early in the second half proved crucial in turning the game in favour of the home side. Rea was the key man for Derrytresk scoring 1-1 but was outscored by team mate Cathal O’Neill who landed five points while Caolan Corr weighed in with 0-3. For the Sarsfields, who will regret their slow start to the second half, the scores came from Sean Mc Goldrick (1-0), Paul Maguire and Shane Cleary 0-3 each, Gareth Mc Grath 0-2 and Tommy Murphy 0-1. This result sends Derrytresk to the top of the table while Drumragh continue to languish close to the bottom.
