Tyrone’s under 17 development squad entertained Monaghan this morning at Garvaghey hoping to make it through to the semi finals of the prestigious Jim Mc Guigan Cup. The team was rotated regularly to ensure that all players received adequate game time.
With fifteen minutes played an impressive looking Tyrone side had opened up a 1-6 to no score lead. However following several changes the visitors had reduced the gap to just two points with the half time score reading 1-11 to 1-9 in favour of Tyrone.
The second half saw further changes to the home line up as they added four goals and eleven points to their total to qualify for the last four of the cpmpetition on a final score that read Tyrone 5-22, Monaghan 1-16.
