Derrytresk will be plying their trade back in division two for 2018 after they defeated Rock in their promotion/ relegation playoff at Coney Park in Ardboe on Sunday afternoon. Rock, who were Ulster Junior champions last season, led 0-4 to 0-3 at the break with Aidan McGarrity and Niall Gavin among the points for their respective sides. McGarrity finished with 0-7 to his name with all but one of those scores coming from frees with Ryan Crilly and Liam Nugent the other Rock marksmen. Derrytresk though crucially struck for goals from Gavin and Caolan Corr with Pat Campbell and Liam Slater also weighing in with points as they edged the contest 2-5 to 0-9.
