Over 150 club coaches attended The Provincial Hurling Coaching Workshop that was held on Saturday at the Tyrone GAA Centre in Garvaghey.
National Director of Coaching Martin Fogarty was a busy man as he oversaw the sessions which were superbly led by DJ Carey, Michael Rice, Brian Hogan, Jackie Tyrell and Tommy Welsh. Between them the coaches hold 38 All Ireland senior medals and some 26 All Stars.
Saturday’s sessions are the third of four scheduled to take place across the country with one in each of the provinces. All nine of the Ulster Counties were represented and each of the Tyrone Hurling Clubs were in attendance.
