Tyrone are through to the semi finals of the Micky Rackard Cup after producing a brilliant display at Carrickmore on Saturday afternoon to overcome Donegal on a 4-19 to 0-16.
Four weeks ago the Red Hands lost to the same opponents in the league final but this time around there was an amazing thirty eight point turnaround. Wind assisted Tyrone led 2-15 to 0-4 at the break thanks to two goals from Conor Grogan and a series of points from Damian Casey and Bryan McGurk. Sean Og Grogan and Casey added second half goals as Tyrone won with plenty to spare.
Full forward Casey finished with 1-10 to his name with Stephen Donnelly, Tiarnan Morgan and Justin Kelly getting their names on the score sheet as well. Midfielder Lee Henderson top scored for Donegal with 0-6, all from placed balls, while Davin Flynn and half back Joe Boyle got five points from play between them.
