Eoghan Ruadh had a comfortable win in the U16 Championship final. The game, played in a cold and windy Garvaghey, was notable more for the presence of Omagh St Endas contesting a final for the 1st since reforming. This is the culmination of 2 successful St Endas Feile teams in the preceding years.

Dungannon started very brightly with goals coming from Cormac Hughes, Ben Gormley, Fionn Devlin and a rasper from James McCann. Rory Weir, Fergal Donaghy, Gormley and McCann added points.

The second half was more competitive as Omagh upped their game and scored 1.03 of their own. More Dungannon scores came from Devlin, Conal Devlin and the goal of the game from Conor MacGinty after a great team move from defence.

This Dungannon team is backboned by their Feile All Ireland winners from last year but hurling was the winner as another club continued their improvement which can only help Tyrone hurling overall.
