Another round of fixtures went ahead this morning in the Daryl Comac memorial league.First up was Killyman v Brocagh, a keenly contested game which came to life in the second period but Killyman StMarys dominant first half display was enough to see them through. Brocagh improved greatly in the second half playing with the elements but the game ended on a score line of 5-13 to 3-8 to the home side .
In the second game a strong running Rock team overpowered Derrytresk on a score line of 6-14 to 0-11 . Derrytresk can take a lot of heart from this display as they competed for large parts but Rock’s timing of goals proved to be the decisive factor in this one .
Next round of fixtures to be played in the coming week :
Killyman v Rock
Brackaville v Brocagh
Many thanks to Cathal and Raymond who kindly gave up time to officiate at both games today and also to the continued support to the Cormac Trust donation boxes at each grounds gate .
Tickets for the GAA chat show night go on sale this week . Keep an eye out in local press and social media for more details.
