With all of their nearest challengers dropping points on Sunday afternoon Donaghmore moved two clear at the top of the table when they edged out Moy in the game of the day. Peter McKenna and Deasun Quinn got the goals for the visitors with the latter also notching the winning point from an injury time free. Harry Loughran and Ryan Coleman found the net for Moy with Conal Duffy and Kris Kavanagh among the points as it finished 2-10 to 2-9.
Derrylaughan are in joint second place after sharing the spoils at home to Moortown in a Loughshore derby. Ciaran Gervin and Ciaran Quinn got the goals for the Kevin Barrys with Fergal McAliskey and Shea Coney featuring among the points. Conal McLernon, Tony Quinn and Ryan Kelly all had points for Moortown with Shane McKeown holding his nerve to convert a penalty deep into injury time to level matters as it finished 2-13 to 1-16.
Pomeroy made the trip to O’Neill Park to play Dungannon and they came away with a superb 0-16 to 0-10 in a top of the table encounter. Justin McCaffery and Christopher Colhoun registered seven points between them for the Plunketts with Matthew Walsh getting five for the Clarkes with Patrick Quinn scoring a couple as well.
Brackaville made the short trip to play Stewartstown and they gave their survival hopes a huge shot in the arm when recording a 2-15 to 3-10 victory. Sean McNally and Rian McHugh were the goal scorers for the Roes with Joe Rafferty, Dale McSorley and McNally all contributing points as well. Cathal Devlin found the net twice for the Harps with Peter Armour also scoring a goal while Dan Lowe and Paul Dillon had points.
Cookstown turned the formbook on its head with a 2-8 to 1-7 victory away to high flying Loughmacrory. Goals in each half from Christopher Eastwood and Owen Mulligan were the decisive scores with Barry Potter getting a trio of points as well. Paraic Meenagh got the Loughmacrory goal with points coming from Cathal Donaghy, Pearse Gallagher and Mark McCullagh supplying points.
Late points from Benny Gallen and Rodger Leonrad won the day for Aghyaran at home to Eskra, 1-12 to 1-10. Prior to that it looked as though a fight back that included points from Peter Hughes and Joe McCarroll was going to be successful for the Emmetts. Ronan McHugh, Aidan Connolly and Cathal Browne were among the points for the St.Davogs after Michael Anderson had sent them on their way with an early goal.
Urney returned to winning ways in style with a 6-11 to 1-13 win away to Derrytresk. Jamie McAleer bagged a hat trick of goals with Johnny Lafferty getting a couple and Martin Owens also finding the net as well for the St.Columbas. Liam Slater, Niall Gavin and Caolan Corr were among the points for the home side.
