Daryl Comac Summer League
Killyman St Mary’s are proposing a mini football league for their under 17 players as a tribute and memorial to their former team mate who died in tragic circumstances.
They have come up with the idea of running an u17 round robin league involving teams Daryl would have played against with the chance of proceeding to a finals’ week.

Purposed starting date for the league is Thursday 4th Aug.
Games to be played over the next 5 Thursdays which will conclude the league on Thursday 25th August.
Each team will play each other once with the top 4 teams proceeding to the finals week.
Daryl Comac Football Week 30th Aug – 3rd Sept
The Daryl Comac football week will run from Tuesday 30th August – Saturday 3rd September.
Tuesday 30th August and Wednesday 31st August – LADIES FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
The club is looking forward to holding a ladies u17 football tournament as well which will hopefully include the following teams.
- Edendork
- Clonoe
- Coalisland
- Dungannon
- Moy
- Ardboe
- Donaghmore
This tournament will be 11 a side and 10 mins per half.
Teams will be put into 2 groups of 3
Group Games will be played over the Tuesday and Wednesday night IN KILLYMAN.
The top 2 teams from each group will proceed to finals days on Saturday.
Thursday 1st September
The semi finals of the boys league will be held on the Thursday night. The top 4 teams that finish in the league will play their semi final with the chance of playing in the final on Saturday.
Friday 2nd September – ALL IRELAND CHAT SHOW
On the Friday night the club is looking forward to running a GAA chat show in the community centre. This will include a selection of big GAA names and have a compere to ask them a series of questions on football and hopefully to talk about the All Ireland Final at the end of September.
Saturday 3rd September – FINALS DAY & PRESENTATION EVENING
This will be the big day as we will hold the ladies and mens finals.
These games will be played under the same rules as the group/league games.
After the finals have been played we will have some food and the presentation of The Daryl Comac Cup for the winning girls team and winning boys team.
All proceeds of the event are going to go to the Cormac Trust.
