St.Patricks Academy Dungannon are Danske Bank Brock Cup champions for 2016 after edging out St.Pats Cavan in an entertaining decider at Truagh on Thursday evening. The Academy looked to be well in control by half time leading 2-6 to 0-6 with Michael Conroy and Louis Conlon among the points with Conlon and Lorcan Quinn getting their goals. Nathan Connolly and Conlon had the opening two points of the second half but then Cavan mounted a terrific comeback. Eoin Clarke, Jack Trainor and Paddy McPhillips all scored points with the latter also finding the net and with just a minute to go the gap was down to the minimum. Dungannon though closed out the game to take the title with points from Conlon and Ryan McCabe as it finished 2-12 to 1-12.
