Dromore enjoyed a rather facile victory over Greencastle in Friday evening’s Division One league clash winning 3-16 to 0-11 in a very one sided match. Both teams were short several players but Dromore’s greater strength in depth proved the difference.
First half goals from Ruairi Sludden and Owen Mc Cusker set the St Dympnas on the road to victory as they reached the break 2-8 to 0-3 ahead. The pattern remained the same in the second half. Fergal O’Neill bagged a third goal for his team while Mc Cusker, Niall and Ruari Sludden and Emmett O’Neill were among the points for the winners.
Final score Dromore 3-16, Greencastle 0-11.
