Tyrone 0-17 Fermanagh 0-7
Tyrone will play either Armagh or Antrim for a place in the Ulster U21 championship decider after they had ten points to spare over Fermanagh in their quarter final at Healy Park on Wednesday night.
Mark Bradley kicked three fine early scores for the hosts but the visitors could have been ahead had Eoin McManus not missed an early penalty, his low shot coming back off the post. Sean McManus and Eddie Courtney got a point each for Fermanagh but that was the sum total of their first half efforts. Bradley took his personal haul to three with centre half forward Mark Kavanagh weighing in with four as well as Tyrone led 0-9 to 0-2 at the break.
Danny McNulty increased that advantage from a free on the restart and while Fermanagh responded through Thomas McCaffrey and Courtney they never looked like mounting a comeback.
Senior attacker Cathal McShane kicked three points for Tyrone with Conor Meyler and half back Kieran McGeary also finding the range. Courtney was proving very accurate from frees for the visitors and he took his personal haul to five with another four conversions. The home side took the opportunity to run their bench and Lee Brennan certainly did his chances of a semi-final starting berth no harm with three quality points.
