St.Patricks Academy Dungannon suffered their second defeat in the Danske Bank MacRory Cup when they were beaten 3-8 to 0-8 by holders St. Pat’s Maghera at Magherafelt on Saturday morning. the sides shared the opening eight points with Lorcan Mallon, Michael McKernan and Shay McGuigan on target before a Shay Downey goal separated the two sides at the break.
In the second half the Derry lads took over with McGuigan and Darragh McPeake both finding the net and while Conn Kilpatrick and Mallon had points for the Academy they had their keeper Caolan Donaghy to thank for three outstanding saves during the game.
